2025 East Alumni Spotlight
In this year’s Spotlight: This year marks a historic milestone for East High School as we celebrate both 150 years as an institution and the 100th anniversary of our iconic building on the City Park Esplanade. The East 150/100 Celebration kicks off in September 2025 with special events, including an All-Class Homecoming, a Film Festival, a Festival of the Decades, and a Time Capsule project. These events bring together alumni, students, and the East community to honor our rich history while securing our legacy for the future.
Beyond the anniversary celebrations, this year’s Spotlight highlights inspiring stories of academic and athletic achievements, the legacy of East’s Hollywood Angels, and efforts to preserve the school’s historic architecture. It also recognizes East’s record-breaking 96.1% graduation rate, the continued success of Constitutional Scholars at the national level, and the impact of scholarship programs that have awarded over $1 million to 484 students.
