2026 East Alumni Spotlight
In this year’s Spotlight: Following the historic 150th anniversary of East High School and the centennial of its iconic City Park Esplanade building, the 2026 Spotlight reflects on a year defined by celebration, legacy, and continued excellence. Highlights include the landmark rededication ceremony, the opening of historic time capsules dating back to the school’s earliest years, a Centennial Open House that welcomed generations of Angels back to campus, and the premiere of the documentary Angel Power! 150 Years of East High Excellence.
Beyond the anniversary events, this year’s Spotlight showcases East’s ongoing achievements across academics, arts, and athletics — including the Constitutional Scholars’ continued national success, historic accomplishments by student teams, expanded music and cultural programs, and the impact of scholarships surpassing $2 million in total awards to East graduates. It also highlights the strength of the East community through faculty recognition events, alumni engagement, and initiatives supporting future generations of Angels.
