Our Mission
The EAF Scholarship Committee awards financial support to graduating East High School students. Rooted in East High’s long tradition of excellence and generosity, these scholarships reflect the school’s core values:
- Diversity
- Academic Excellence
- Character
- Community & Extracurricular Involvement
The East High School Alumni Scholarship Fund was established in 1926 by the classes of 1923–1926 and proudly revived in 1995. Since 2011, the East Angel Foundation has expanded and managed the program, which is now overseen by a dedicated volunteer Scholarship Committee.
Since the program’s revival, EAF has awarded $1,005,000 to 484 graduating seniors—an impact made possible by the unwavering support of alumni, parents, and the broader Denver community.
In addition, 2025 marks the 10th anniversary of the Cleworth LEAP Scholarship, which has awarded over $1 million to 13 exceptional students since its inception in 2016. This transformational scholarship exemplifies the lasting power of alumni generosity and vision.
Thank you for being part of this legacy.
