Make a lasting impact by volunteering at East High School! Whether mentoring students, supporting teachers, assisting with events, or joining school committees, there are countless ways to contribute your time and talents.

Your involvement not only enriches the lives of current students but also strengthens the enduring legacy of East High School. Here are a number of examples of how you can get involved:

  • A+ Angels Mentoring Program: Mentor 9th-grade students, providing academic and social support during school hours.

  • Academic Success Class Speakers: Share your professional experiences with 10th-grade students to inspire and guide them.

  • Counseling Office Assistance: Assist with student flow management, support first-generation students with post-secondary planning, or help with 8th-grade shadowing programs.

  • Library Support: Help with shelving, organization, and special projects to maintain the library’s efficiency.

  • Special Education Support: Provide academic and social assistance to students with developmental disabilities, both in classrooms and during community experiences.

  • Study Tables Tutoring: Offer academic support in core subjects during after-school study sessions.

  • Teacher Support Committee: Organize and assist with events that provide meals and special treats for teachers and staff.

  • Membership Recruitment: Help recruit and welcome new PTSA members during school events.
